Pupils of football school, established in Avdiivka in the framework of Metinvest Group corporate social program and in partnership with the football club "Shakhtar", won the first place in the game with children of their own age from Ukrainian youth clubs. Football tournament in Kerch attended young sportsmen from eight Ukrainian towns.
In 2013, in the framework of Metinvest corporate social program "The development of football for children and young people" in Avdiivka the enterprise invests about 360 thousand UAH to the football school. These funds will be directed to improve the training-sports facilities, the purchases sports equipment, the transfers, and salary for coaching and medical staff. Last year, the pupils received from the football club "Shakhtar" branded kits of competition form.
Nowadays 100 children from 8 to 13 years old trains in Avdiivka football school. And it is possible for talented children to enter the school in Avdiivka. Every six months the members of FC "Shakhtar" branches combined team are selected by results of football tournaments. So Avdiivka football pupils have opportunity to start a football career.
