Avdiivka Coke included in Metinvest Group signed an agreement on social and economic partnership for 2012 between the Plant management and Avdiivka Municipal Council. A two-sided agreement is directed to develop social partnership with the town and participation in solving social and economic problems of Avdiivka, building an effective dialogue between the socially responsible business and local authorities.
The document specifies the principles, forms and directions of cooperation: municipal infrastructure development, Health Care and Environmental Protection, Educational level improvement, and also popular sport elaboration and healthy lifestyle promotion. This cooperation will be performed in the framework of the mutual programs, projects and activities which will also engage the local community.
This year the corporate social programs implementation “Healthy Environment is Everybody’s Business”, “Children and youth football development", “The World of Opportunity” will be continued at Avdiivka. In March this year new program “We improve the city” is aimed to raise social activity of local communities and to realize the topical projects directed to improve the social environment the territory of Metinvest presence.

It should be noted that PJSC "Avdiivka Coke Plant" included in Metinvest Group invested UAH 142.4 thousands during two months in 2012. The funds were directed to landscape the playgrounds at kindergartens, to develop infrastructure of the park area down the Gagarina street, to repair the town stadium, to provide one-time payment for gifted children.
Within the framework of the partnership with the town the total social funding for Avdiivka amounted to almost UAH 11 million in 2011.
