This year total investment volume in co-generation plant at Аvdiivka coke plant amounts to more than 54 million UAH. Repair work area comprises all work cells at co-generation plant.
This year the old installation of one of the power generating unit was replaced and it made possible to increase its power up to specified rate 12 МW/hour. It is planned to replace one more old power generating unit by 2014. Electricity production in this area will be increased by 13 MW/hour due to the investment outlay in new equipment.
To perform effective operation of co-generation plant the capital facility repair in boiler department will be effected, it is directed to reestablish steam service output of all six boilers. Due to this electricity production will be increased yet by 3,5 MW/hour in boiler department, if production output is maximum.
“Energy efficiency today is as relevant as ever. Now the co-generation plant entirely provides the electric power, so Аvdiivka coke plant is able to work stable even if the prices for energy resources regularly rise”, - pointed out Gennadiy Vlasov, the general director of PJSC “Аvdiivka coke plant”. – Energy-efficient technologies are regarded to be priority for our plant“.
The current stage of investment program concerning the capital repair and the equipment on power generating units at Аvdiivka coke plant are planned to be finished and replaced respectively to the end of April in 2014.
